DESCRIPTION:Friday Morning Golf League — The Friday morning golf league at Southport Springs has been growing each week as more and more folks are arriving. Golfers who haven’t played the course for a couple of years are in for a good surprise. There have been many improvements made with more coming in 2018. Join us on Friday mornings and give it a try. The signup sheet is in clubhouse #1.\nWe have three leagues\, the Municipal Course (Airport)\, Scotland Yard and Southport Springs. The courses vary in level of difficulty and length. All leagues enjoy a lower green fee than walk-in golfers. Golfers with all ranges of handicaps enjoy our leagues. The more adventurist golfers can experience other courses within a reasonable commute from Hillcrest.\nScotland Yard — With three golf leagues\, Hillcrest RV Resort is the place to be during the winter months.\nThe “Hillcrest Scotland Yard League ” hits the links each Wednesday at 9:30 AM. Greens Fees are $21.00 for 18 holes or $16.00 for 9 holes. This includes golf cart and taxes. We have a “Closest To The Hole” contest on the front and back nine each week.  \nGolfers from all the leagues are invited to Travis’ Man Cave (132 B) for our “After Golf Party” where we share our favorite finger foods\, reminisce about the day’s great (and not so great) shots and participate in a putting contest. Winners of the “ Closest To The Hole” and “ Putting Contest” are announced on the Friends Of Hillcrest RV Resort Facebook Page each week.  \nAt the end of the season everyone is invited to participate in the annual “Man Cave Open” putting contest. Both male and female champion’s names are engraved on a trophy that is displayed at the Man Cave. Congratulations to last year’s champions “ Gil Charlebois and Jan Moulaison.

Once a month there is a potluck lunch and 5 cent bingo. There are lots of different hot and cold dishes and yummy desserts. We play 20 games and bingo cards are 5 cents each. There is an average of 60 people or more between lunch and bingo. Come & join us\, have a lot of fun and meet a lot of nice people!

DESCRIPTION:Hillcrest offers a non-denominational worship service Sundays during season at 10 am.  The worship service\, led by park residents\, starts with brief announcements of general interest followed by a musical Call to Worship provided by the choir. Hymn singing occurs throughout worship and includes an anthem by the choir and special music provided by a variety of residents during the free will offering. A sermon message and community prayer is provided by a visiting ordained pastor\, and communion is offered the first Sunday of each month. Snacks and fellowship follow the service.

Hope to see you there for several hours of entertainment! \nEuchre – every Tuesday is euchre night from 6:30-9pm. Euchre is an easy and fun card game played with a partner at tables of 4. We play 8 hands per game winning couple moves to the next table. Every game is played with a different couple – great way to meet everyone! A cost of $0.25 per person that is put in a kiddy to be given to the winners. We are all given score sheet to keep track. Beginners welcome!

Cues are also at your disposal if you don’t have your own.\nFriendly games\, under the UPA rule for amateur 8-Ball\, are organised for women in the morning three times weekly and at night for men except on Friday which is held in the afternoon. Women are invited to join the men on Monday night when teams are mixed. \nYou can enjoy the tables at any other time when they are free so you can enhance your skill and you will always find someone to play with you if you wish.\nCome enjoy and enjoy the friendship at Hillcrest.
